Adebayo, Edrice "Bam" Kentucky  6'10" 243 C frosh. Adebayo is a physical specimen that has NBA athleticism. He has the shoulders of a god. He is a pivot player that uses his strength to get buckets in the paint. Adebayo averaged 13 points, 8 rebounds and 1.5 blocked shots per game. He played 30 minutes per game. He shot 59% FG, and 65% FT. He does not shoot the three-ball. He had twice as many turnovers as assists. ...Adebayo has a 9'0" standing reach (same as Donte Greene, and Hakim Warrick.) ...Adebayo has a 38.5" max. vert. (same as Marquese Chriss, and Steven Hunter). ...Per-minute, nothing Adebayo did as a freshman was very special. Also, his DEFRTG was slightly worse than the Kentucky DEFRTG, something you rarely see from a BIG. I get that Bam has elite athletic gifts for his frame but the basketball player, as of now, is not ready to contribute much more than backup minutes in our opinion. We have seen him projected as a first round pick. I would caution teams to make sure they understand the depth available at the FIVE spot these days. The pool of pivots is crowded; filled not just with Centers but also all the old-school beast PFs.

Good advice: In 2003, the 39th pick in the NBA Draft was Slavko Vranes. We advised, "Draft Kyle Korver."
