Bamba, Mohamed Texas 7'1" 226 C frosh Bamba is a supreme shot blocker with length to spare. He averaged 12.9 points, 10.5 rebounds, and a whopping 3.7 blocked shots per game as a freshman at Texas. …Bamba has a standing reach of 9'7.5" and a wingspan of 7'10". He has big hands as well. …Bamba struggles with his perimeter shooting. He hit 27% of his 3-pt FG attempts. He made 68% of his free throws. He had three times as many turnovers as assists. ...Bamba runs the floor well and he makes good use of cuts to score.  He is a fantastic rebounder. ...Right handed. ...Bamba is simply a HUGE difference maker on defense. Texas was 9.8 points per 100 possessions better on D with Bamba on the floor. He doesn't score nearly as easily as some of the other BIG-man prospects but his upside remains due to his overall ability and smarts. We expect Bamba to go in the top-half of the lottery.
