Ferguson, Terrance Australia 6'7" 184 SG 5/17/1997 Ferguson has a reputation for being a shooter and an explosive athlete. He decided to play as a pro in Australia as opposed to being a college freshman in the USA. Ferguson's numbers 'down-under' were atrocious. He was literally one of the least efficient players we've come across in many years. And the sample size is over 500 minutes. ...Ferguson shot 38% FG, 31% 3-pt., and 60% FT in 2016-17, hardly the percentages of a "great shooter" as he was billed at times by the national media. Furthermore, Ferguson rarely made it to the free throw line which speaks to his willingness to simply settle for jump shots. ...On defense, Ferguson has struggled as well. His team was 4.8 points per 100 possessions better with him OFF the floor. ...Ferguson's wingspan is 6'8.75" (same as Pat Connaughton). ...Certainly, there is upside to Ferguson's game. He has a max. vert of 38" (same as Randy Foye and Jeremy Lamb.)  ...You can see that Ferguson has potential. But so did Wesley Johnson and countless other athletic "shooters". We would advise ALL NBA teams to be very careful to not confuse Ferguson's athletic promise with what he actually is. We think he has too far to go to be selected in the first round.

Decent Advice: In 2005, the 35th pick in the NBA Draft was Ricky Sanchez. We advised, "Draft Ersan Ilyasova."
