Fox, De'Aaron Kentucky  6'3" 170 PG frosh. Fox was likely the fastest player with the ball in college basketball. His speed is blinding. He handles the ball like a mix-tape superstar. He averaged 16.7 points, 4 rebounds, and 4.6 assists per game. The shooting percentages from deep are not where you want a point guard to be. Fox attempted 69 threes and made just 17 (24% 3-pt. FG). He is a 73% FT shooter which shows some degree of touch, and lends some hope to him one day being better from deep. ...His mom played basketball at Arkansas-Little Rock ...As a prep: McDonald's All-American. Shared MVP honors at the Jordan Brand Classic with fellow UK teammate Malik Monk. ...Fox really impressed us in interviews. From all indications, he is a mature leader (or as mature as a player can be at age 19). His shot does not look "broken". We think his 24% three-point shooting was more about a one-season sample than a guy who just lays bricks. Defensively, Fox posted a DEFRTG that was slightly worse than the Kentucky team DEFRTG. Fox has a 6'6.5" wingspan (same as Acie Law, and Patrick Beverley). ...We expect Fox to be selected in the top-five. Potential top-tier point guards USUALLY do not come around every day (or even every year, or two years). My one note of caution is that too many people have used comparisons to John Wall when discussing Fox's game. As we always say, comparisons are dangerous. Wall is longer (Wall has a 6'9.75" wingspan!), and stronger, and he has better vision. Each player is unique. Fox could just as easily be compared to Dennis Schroder. And for those who may not know, there is presently a BIG difference between the great John Wall, and the very solid Dennis Schroder.

Good advice: In 2011, the 6th pick in the NBA Draft was Jan Vesely. We advised, "Draft Kawhi Leonard."
