Hood-Schifino is an alert, right handed, guard with good vision and a dash of flair to his game. He makes plays out of the pick-n-roll that show a high level of creativity and natural feel. Hood-Schifino averaged 13.5 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 3.7 assists as a freshman at Indiana. He shot 33.3% from three-point range, and 77.6% FT. His assist-to-turnover ratio was 1.37-to-1. Hood-Schifino was named Big Ten "Rookie of the Year." …He has a 6'10.25" wingspan but Indiana was better defensively (3.3 points per 100 possessions) with Hood-Schifino off the floor. We thought he was solid on-ball despite not being a great runner/jumper athlete. In many ways, Hood-Schifino is hard to gauge. He has an impressive background, winning high school "National Championships" back-to-back. At I.U., he had moments that made us believers and an equal amount of time that we wanted more out of him. His knack for look-away passes is impressive. We expect him to be drafted in the middle of round one. We think it may take some time for him to crack an NBA rotation.
