Spellman is a BIG that can step out and knock down jump shots. He is an excellent rebounder that played a key role in Villanova's National Championship. Spellman averaged 10.9 points, 8 rebounds and 1.5 blocked shots per game as a redshirt freshman. He'll be 21 in July 2018. Spellman shot 40.3% 3-pt. fg in 2017-18. He connected on 70% of his foul shots. Spellman had more turnovers than assists. ...He was best as a spot-up shooter. ...On defense, Spellman moves his feet relatively well for a BIG. He should be able to guard most of the stretch-four type players in the NBA, while also having the thickness and strength to bang with NBA pivots. ...Spellman worked hard to lose nearly 50 lbs. while he was on his redshirt season. We see him as a potential top-tier reserve that play 4 or 5.
