Thybulle, Matisse Washington 6'5" 190 SG SR.  The best defender of guards in college basketball... Matisse Thybulle is incredible on defense. He is a true difference maker on that end of the floor. Washington was 7.5 points per 100 possessions better on defense with Thybulle on the floor. He was the 2018-19 Pac 12 Defensive Player of the Year. Thybulle averaged 9.1 points, 3.5 steals, and 2.2 blocked shots per game in 2018-19. He is a 35% career three point shooter (although it dipped to 30% as a Senior). ...Thybulle improved as a free throw shooter, netting 85% in 2018-19. ...Thybulle led the Pac 12 in boxscore plus/minus. ...I do have some reservations about Thybulle providing enough offense to hold up his part of the deal on that end.  But there is no doubt that any team that drafts Thybulle will be adding a TRUE defensive wing, ready to help slow down any NBA shooting guard. ...Thybulle is likely to be taken in the late first round.

Good Advice: In 2002, the 57th pick in the NBA Draft was Corsley Edwards. We advised, "Draft Udonis Haslem."
